1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AttachCV (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Proxyon Technologies. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

AttachCV is an AI-powered career development platform that provides:

  • ATS-optimised CV building and guided generation
  • CV upload, editing, and automatic ATS-template conversion
  • ATS compatibility scoring and diagnostic analysis
  • AI-powered CV enhancement (bullet optimisation, summary generation)
  • Job description tailoring ("Matchmaker")
  • Cover letter generation (premium)
  • LinkedIn Profile Generator (premium)

Future features that may be introduced include job opportunity matching, the RecruitFeed employer marketplace, interview preparation tools, and institutional dashboards. Additional terms may apply when these features launch.

3. Eligibility

To use AttachCV, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws

4. User Responsibilities

By using AttachCV, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful, accurate, and non-misleading information in your profile and CVs
  • Only upload content you own or have the right to use
  • Not upload harmful, illegal, defamatory, or fraudulent content
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, scrape, or disrupt the Platform
  • Not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or restrictions
  • Not use the Platform to generate content on behalf of others in a manner that constitutes fraud or misrepresentation

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

5.1 Platform Ownership

AttachCV, its systems, branding, AI models, templates, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of Proxyon Technologies. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or distribute any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of your personal data, uploaded CVs, and the information you provide to the Platform.

By using AttachCV, you grant Proxyon Technologies a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

  • Process and store your content to deliver platform functionality
  • Generate AI-assisted outputs based on your inputs
  • Use anonymised or aggregated data to improve the platform

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AttachCV uses AI to generate CV suggestions, rewrites, cover letters, and other outputs. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI outputs may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific circumstances
  • ATS scores are indicative estimates and do not guarantee results with any particular employer system
  • We do not guarantee that using the Platform will result in job interviews, employment offers, or any other career outcome
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before using it professionally

7. Subscription Plans, Payments, and Fair Usage

7.1 Subscription Model

AttachCV operates a freemium model with paid plans available on a prepaid, non-auto-renewing basis. Plans and their features are described on the Platform and may be updated from time to time.

7.2 Current Plans

Free Tier ("Attachment Starter")

  • ATS-friendly CV builder with basic features
  • CV upload, edit, and ATS template conversion
  • ATS score only (no detailed breakdown)
  • Limited CV generations per day
  • No AI-powered features
  • Downloads available at $1.50 per export (one-time charge, non-refundable once initiated)

Standard Plan — $2.99 for 30 days (no auto-renewal)

  • Full ATS diagnostic breakdown and keyword analysis
  • AI bullet-point optimiser and profile summary generator
  • Job description tailoring (Matchmaker)
  • Up to 10 saved CVs
  • Access to 3 CV templates
  • Unlimited downloads during the plan period

Advanced Plan — $7.99 for 30 days (no auto-renewal)

  • Everything in the Standard Plan
  • Unlimited AI cover letter generation
  • Job matching and opportunity suggestions
  • Skill gap analysis based on job requirements
  • LinkedIn Profile Generator
  • Access to all 5 CV templates
  • Priority support

7.3 Payment Terms

All payments are processed via supported local payment methods (e.g., EcoCash, OneMoney, or card). Plans are prepaid and do not auto-renew. Fees are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise by Proxyon Technologies.

7.4 Plan Expiry

Upon expiry of a paid plan:

  • Your saved CVs and profile data remain accessible
  • Downloads, AI features, and premium diagnostics are gated until a new plan is purchased
  • You may continue to edit CVs in draft form without an active plan

7.5 Fair Usage Policy

> Note: Although paid plans provide access to AI-powered features without a defined per-query token limit, AttachCV enforces a Fair Usage Policy to ensure equitable access for all users and maintain platform performance.

If your account consumes an unusually high volume of AI resources within a subscription period — including but not limited to mass AI rewriting, automated or scripted usage, or unusually high rates of AI feature consumption — Proxyon Technologies reserves the right to:

  • Temporarily restrict or throttle your access to AI-powered features
  • Require you to wait until the next subscription period before AI limits are restored
  • In repeated or extreme cases, suspend your account pending review

We do not publish specific token thresholds, as limits are assessed in context. Legitimate, good-faith use by individual users will not typically trigger this policy. Fair usage restrictions do not entitle you to a refund of your subscription fee.

If your access is restricted under this policy, you will be notified by email or an in-app notice with guidance on when and how access will be restored.

8. Institutional Use (B2B)

If you access AttachCV through a university, organisation, or institutional licence:

  • Additional terms may apply as agreed between Proxyon Technologies and the institution
  • The institution may receive anonymised, aggregated insights about student readiness
  • Individual personal data and CV content remains protected and is not shared with the institution without your consent

9. Account Suspension and Termination

9.1 Termination by Us

Proxyon Technologies may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Use
  • Abuse or misuse the Platform or its AI features
  • Engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful behaviour
  • Repeatedly trigger Fair Usage restrictions through non-legitimate usage patterns

9.2 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time through the Platform settings or by contacting us. Account deletion does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Proxyon Technologies and AttachCV shall not be liable for:

  • Job application outcomes, missed opportunities, or employment decisions made by third parties
  • Inaccuracies or errors in AI-generated content
  • Data loss or service interruptions
  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform

You use AttachCV at your own risk. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Proxyon Technologies, its founders, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Future Services Disclaimer

Features listed as future additions — including RecruitFeed, job matching, employer access, and interview preparation tools — are described for informational purposes only. Proxyon Technologies makes no commitment to a delivery timeline for these features, and additional terms will apply when they are launched.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of AttachCV after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Zimbabwe.
