2.3 AI Interaction Data

We collect inputs you provide when using AI-powered features including:

Bullet-point optimization prompts
Job description tailoring ("Matchmaker")

Any other AI-assisted interactions within the platform

2.4 Usage and Technical Data

We may automatically collect:

Device type and browser information
Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform

AI feature usage patterns (used internally to enforce fair usage limits — see Section 4.2)

When you make a payment, we collect transaction-related information. Full payment card or mobile money credentials are processed by our third-party payment providers and are not stored on our servers.

3.4 Security and Abuse Prevention

Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of the platform

4. AI and Data Processing

4.1 How AI Processes Your Data

AttachCV uses AI systems, including third-party AI providers, to analyse and improve CVs. Your content may be sent to these providers strictly for the purpose of delivering platform functionality. We do not use your CV content to train public AI models without your explicit consent.

AI outputs are generated automatically and may not always be perfectly accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before submitting it in any professional context.

4.2 AI Usage Monitoring and Fair Usage

AI processing is resource-intensive. AttachCV monitors the volume of AI features consumed per account to ensure platform stability and equitable access for all users.

> Note: Although paid plans are not metered by token count, AttachCV reserves the right to temporarily limit or restrict access to AI-powered features for accounts that consume an unusually high volume of AI resources within a given subscription period. This is determined at our discretion and is intended to protect service quality for all users.

If your account is flagged under fair usage, you will be notified, and normal access will typically be restored at the start of your next subscription cycle or upon review. Paid plan fees will not be refunded solely on the basis of a fair usage restriction.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5.1 Service Providers

We may share data with trusted third-party service providers, including:

Cloud hosting and storage providers
AI processing providers (for CV analysis and generation)
Payment processors (e.g., Paynow Zimbabwe, mobile money operators)

5.2 Institutional Clients (B2B)

If you access AttachCV through a university or organisation that holds an institutional licence:

Aggregated or anonymised insights (e.g., overall student readiness rates) may be shared with that institution
Individual personal data and CV content is not shared with institutions without your explicit consent
